YATL CON 2023

A writer’s journey requires support. Whether from a writing community, through conferences and writing programs, or by way of editorial insight, the path to publication cannot be walked alone. But finding that support as a writer of Young Adult–the fastest growing genre in publishing–can be difficult when combined with other genres and styles, diluting the opportunities to meet agents that represent Young Adult or attend panels and workshops focused on what
you write. You need more opportunities with literary agents who represent your work. You need to find, connect with, and learn from writers who share your love for writing Young Adult. You need an entire day focused entirely on Young Adult fiction and nonfiction to help you and your manuscript thrive.

Your opportunity has arrived.

In partnership with YATL, Broadleaf Writers is pleased to present YATL CON 2023. A one-day conference featuring authors and literary agents representing Young Adult fiction and nonfiction, YATL CON 2023 offers you everything you need to know to succeed as a writer of Young Adult. Attend panels and workshops, pitch your manuscripts to literary agents, take advantage of mentoring sessions, and connect and chat with writers who share your passion and interest in the genre. This is an entire day dedicated solely to the genre you write, and a golden opportunity to learn from authors and agents who know the path to success.

YATL CON 2023 will be held on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at the Decatur Library in Decatur, Georgia. Parking is available at the library, or in any of the nearby public parking decks.
