When making decisions about how to execute our mission, there are many factors that must be considered. We are constantly balancing the desire to expand our reach and serve our current members to the best of our ability while being mindful of our very real budget constraints. Every dollar helps us serve our mission.

What does your donation help fund?

We strive to shine a spotlight on the talented writers in the state of Georgia, as well to cultivate and inspire a new generation of writers to future success. By expanding our region’s literacy and enriching its culture, we strengthen its social and economic fabric. Through educational opportunities, like our annual conference, we offer writers the tools and resources needed to improve an invaluable skill.

Want to join us in making a difference?
As a nonprofit, we rely heavily upon the kindness of our friends and community. Though membership fees offer a boost to our resources, they do not serve to address operational and programming needs. Direct donations and corporate gifts are the largest source of funding for our organization, and therefore a fundamental need for our growth.

Do donors receive recognition for their support?

Absolutely! All donors, unless they wish to remain anonymous, receive recognition in our Conference Program and on our Website!

As a show of appreciation, Broadleaf Writers gives a complimentary yearly membership to individuals who donate at least $250! Additionally, any donation of $500 or more will include an opportunity to attend our annual conference as a featured guest!.
