Join us, Thursday, May 29th from 6:30 – 7:30pm via Zoom, for the next meeting for members of Broadleaf Writers.
For May, we present The Art of the Anthology: A Q&A with author Jessica Nettles. Anthologies can be a fantastic way to get your stories and name out there. They’ve been surging in popularity with readers in recent years. Jessica will be answering your anthology questions, including how to find anthologies to submit to, writing/editing for a short format, red flags/green flags to look for when working on an anthology project with others, and how anthologies can help get your writing out to an audience.
Jessica Nettles is the author of The Children of Menlo Park and her stories have been featured in the anthologies Georgia Gothic, Off the Beaten Path 4, League of Monsters, A Woman Unbecoming, and Lonely Hollow: 15 Tales of Folk Horror. Jessica is a member of the Horror Writers Association Atlanta Chapter, previously served on the board of Broadleaf, and is an instructor of English at Chattahoochee Technical College.
Non-Members are welcome at our meetings, with a one-time pass (per year). Register below to attend.
