**ANNOUNCEMENT** The 7th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference is Moving Online

It goes without saying that our paths as writers are rife with constant adjustment. It requires a great deal of fortitude and resolve to see it through. As it happens, life is not dissimilar in its persistence. Things happen, often beyond our control, and we must adjust and adapt. If we have learned anything through this pandemic, it is that.

It is with that in mind that we must announce that, due to circumstances beyond our control, the 7th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference will move to a virtual-only format. Though we will desperately miss the opportunity to congregate in person with you all (more than we can adequately express), we remain excited about bringing you the same content—all panels, workshops, 1-on-1 pitch and mentoring sessions, 1st Pages and Query Letter Critiques, all sessions recorded—with the same quality and excellence we demanded of ourselves over the past two virtual conferences. We’ll add lunchtime chats to our schedule, to give everyone an opportunity to come together and discuss writing, host a Storytime after the end of day on Saturday, and the 1-on-1 room will remain open during breaks of pitch and mentoring sessions, so that anyone can drop by and chat.

Obviously, we would have preferred to conduct our conference in person. We share in any disappointment you may feel. But we remain eager and excited to give you an incredible conference experience, with all the education, inspiration, and opportunity for you to connect and grow as a writer, that we can pack into two days.
